Skydive Dubai

On arrival at Skydive Dubai, your first step will be to register and fill out a waiver form. Your Body Mass Index (BMI) will also be calculated to ensure that you are fit for the experience. Your instructor will explain the entire process, give you safety instructions and show you the best body positions for free fall. You will later board the plane with your instructor and camera flyer, who will document the entire experience for you by taking photos, videos and interviewing you. At 13,000 feet, you will be strapped to an experienced instructor who will take through the jump. At exit altitude, you will finally get to go on the exhilarating jump and fall to the ground within 60 seconds!

ARRIVAL TIME
The time mentioned in your booking confirmation email is your arrival time, it is not your skydive time. If you selected a slot of 10:00 am, please arrive at 10:00 am.
Important: Our team does try to get customers ready for their skydive as soon as possible. However, sometimes, circumstances beyond our control (eg: air traffic control, unfavorable weather conditions, etc) may cause a delay in the day's schedule thereby increasing the customer's wait time. This is why we suggest that you plan to spend between three to four hours (i.e. from the time you check-in till the time you complete your skydive) at our locations on the day of your skydive.
 

Weather
In case of bad weather, our team will announce a "standby", which means we have to put our operations on hold. Regular announcements will be made updating you on the conditions while you wait at our location. 
If the weather shows no signs of improving and we have to cancel operations and you cannot reschedule for the next available date, you will receive a refund.
While we always do our best to communicate operational changes, Skydive Dubai reserves the right to close our dropzones without any prior warning. In this case, our team will contact you by phone or email to cancel or reschedule your skydive.
 

RESCHEDULE

Individuals must reschedule up to 24 hours before their reservation date or risk losing their payment. (subject to availability)

Groups must reschedule 72 hours ahead of their reservation date or risk losing their payment. (subject to availability).

Refund policy

The payment you make when booking your skydive is refundable in the case of bad weather.
We cannot issue refunds for (examples, but not limited to):

• Not meeting our age or weight/BMI requirements.
• Not showing up on time.
• Arriving under the influence of drugs/ and or alcohol.
• If you've been scuba diving 24 hours before your skydive.
• If your weight/BMI exceeds our health-and-safety requirements.

• Bring a printed voucher and A filled and signed copy of the Tandem Waiver form (the form is also available at our locations)
• Bring a valid & official government photo ID, driver’s license or passport
• Bring a complete and stamped declaration fitness form if you’re 70 years or older (or if you suffer any on the mentioned medical conditions) 

• Please avoid scuba diving at least 24 hours prior to you tandem skydive.
• Pregnant women, people with any past or present medical conditions are not permitted for Skydive.
• It is the guest’s responsibility to make sure that you meet all stated requirements for age, weight, BMI and health conditions
• It is recommended to check your weight and BMI prior to making the booking
• If you make a booking without meeting the requirements, you will not be allowed to skydive and your deposit will not be refunded
• It’s unacceptable to skydive under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• BMI is an indicator of the degree of fitness, which is required for a safe landing
• For women: Allowed weight is 90 kg and Maximum BMI of 27.5
• For men: Allowed weight is 100 Kg and Maximum BMI of  30.0  
• If a guest prefers to skydive in the company of a Woman, for cultural or religious reasons please tell us where you check-in for your SkyDive. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request depending on staffing and availability on the day
• If you have a tandem booking for our Desert Dropzone please contact us at least 48hrs prior to your Skydive. 
•  A doctor certificate is needed for participants with the following medical conditions: epilepsy, fits, severe head injury, recurrent blackouts, high blood pressure, heart or lung diseases, diabetes, dislocated limbs, replaced joints, back surgery, mental illness, drug or alcohol addiction
• It is recommended that you download the waiver and bring it filled on the day
   

Know Before You Go:

IMPORTANT!!

AGE
- Must be a 18 years of age or above (according to the Gregorian calendar) on the day of tandem skydive. Please bring  a valid and official government photo ID (Emirates ID, driver's license, passport) on the day of your skydive.
- If you are 70 years old or older on the day you skydive, or have suffered from any of the medical conditions listed on our website, you must submit a filled and signed copy of the Declaration of Fitness form from your doctor.

Weight and BMI (Body Mass Index) with clothing and sports shoes, MUST NOT EXCEED our maximum safety requirements or you will not be permitted to tandem skydive. These requirements are in place to ensure a safe, but thrilling skydive for both yours and our staff.

Women: Weight: 90kg/198lbs or less, BMI: maximum 27.5
Men: Weight: 100kg/220.5lbs or less, BMI: maximum 30.0

We highly recommend checking and calculating the weight as well as BMI before you make a booking with us. Your deposit will not be refunded if you make a booking, but your weight and / or BMI are over our requirements. Click here to calculate your BMI.

DRESS CODE

Please dress suitably and comfortably for your skydive and be respectful of the local culture and sentiments.
Athletic, comfortable clothes are advised. T-shirts/tops with sleeves and shorts that cover the thigh area are recommended so that the harness fits comfortably.
Collared shirts should be avoided. (Flapping collars during freefall can be unpleasant.)
Avoid wearing white or light-colored shorts or pants that may get dirty. 
Laced-up sneakers or sports shoes are ideal for your skydive. Please make sure your shoes don't have any buckles or studs on them.
Not allowed: Swimwear.
Not allowed: Sandals, boots, open-toe, or heeled/platform shoes of any type.
Customers are advised to remove any precious jewelry, watches, and/or other accessories before their skydive. These can be placed in the free personal lockers at our locations.
Every customer will be given protective eye goggles to wear during their skydive. So, if you need to wear prescription glasses or lenses during your skydive, please do so. You don't want to miss that view!
