This heritage safari lets you explore the mysterious happenings of Dubai desert at night. You will get to ride in vintage 1950s Land Rover and explore the darkness with a professional guide and astronomer. After the sun has set, get to see the nocturnal animals roaming around the desert at the Dubai Desert conservation reserve. You will be able to sport Arabian gazelles, a rare desert fox or the captivating desert eagle owl. You can also use night vision to search for smaller creatures such as scorpions, beetles and lizards. You will then arrive at an authentic Bedouin camp where you will have a delicious three-course dinner with a variety of dishes to choose from such as grilled salmon, prawns, lentil soup, fattoush salad, steak or grilled chicken. After a hearty meal, enjoy an astronomy session and learn about Arabian stars. Get to stargaze with a private astronomer, learn the history of astronomy and find out how ancient Bedouins used astronomy for navigation.
